CR SURVEYORS are offering unmanned drone inspections to our existing and updated services.

It is becoming common for companies to include drone videos /still images as part of their service. Many roofing companies will now offer drone images to highlight roof defects and the cost of the drone survey can then be taken off the final roofing costs.

We are unique in that we operate completely independently of any organization in carrying out drone surveys as part of our RICS Chartered Building Surveying services. We have Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) permission allowing us to use unmanned aerial drones (UAV). In addition we have A1/A3 and A2 competency certificates for European surveys under the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

The above certification and permission allows us to not only fly these aircraft in the UK but also across European member states.

Aerial surveys provide additional capacity to inspect buildings which are inaccessible from ground level and are difficult to inspect with binoculars from ground level.

• Commercial and residential defect surveys of roofs.
• Can be used in conjunction with Building Surveys.
• Insurance reinstatement and claim costs.
• Aerial photography to check conditions-can be carried out periodically over time.
• Can be used in conjunction with thermal imaging inspections, to highlight heat loss/insulation requirements
